DoorDash: No Tax on Tips Is Delivering Real Savings for Dashers Nationwide

Tax season is here, and for the first time, people who get tips are keeping more of what they earned. New data from Dashers across the U.S. shows just how much of a difference No Tax on Tips is already delivering in year one, saving Dashers hundreds of millions of dollars.

We surveyed 1,500 highly-engaged Dashers to better understand what No Tax on Tips meant for them this tax season. Here's what they said:

  • 59% said No Tax on Tips had an impact on their tax return.

  • 34% of Dashers estimate they saved more than $500 this year on federal taxes thanks to No Tax on Tips.

  • 85% say they support similar NTOT policies being passed in their states.

"It increased my refund from $300 to $2000." - Katie Wagoner, OK.
