JEFFERSON CITY , M o - The Missouri Department of Transportation is hosting a public meeting tonight, June 2, to gather community feedback on 2027 plans to rehabilitate the Moniteau County Route T bridge over Burris Fork Creek , south of California . The open-house style public meeting will run from 4:30-6 p.m. at the California City Hall.
In order to extend the life of the 66-year-old bridge so it can continue to serve the roughly 500 motorists who cross it on an average day , the expansion joint needs r emoved and the supporting structure requires repair work .
