WWU Dining: Breast Cancer Awareness Month

WWU Dining: Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October 22, 2024

Dining at WWU

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Dining at WWU is offering pink heart-shaped cookies at Zoe's Bagels, Viking Union Cafe, and Miller Café. All proceeds from the sale of these themed treats will be donated directly to cancer patients at St. Joseph's Cancer Center.

The initiative aims to raise awareness and provide support for those affected by breast cancer. Available throughout October, the cookies symbolize both solidarity with breast cancer patients and the power of small acts of kindness making a big difference.

The campaign not only promotes awareness but directly supports patients in need, with every dollar raised going toward essential care and services provided by the cancer center.

Students and staff are encouraged to visit campus cafes to enjoy a treat and support the cause. Whether grabbing a snack between classes or picking up coffee with a friend, every purchase helps.
