Community grants open to spark connection, creativity and resilience

Round two of the Community Development and Events Grants Program is now open, offering funding to support local projects and events that make a real difference in the Augusta Margaret River community.

Whether it's a grassroots initiative, a creative workshop or a community celebration, the program is designed to back ideas that bring people together, build resilience and respond to local needs. Grants of up to $10,000 are available for larger projects, while Easy Grants of up to $3,000 support smaller-scale activities with a simple application process.

More than $115,000 was awarded in round one to a diverse mix of local organisations, supporting everything from vibrant community celebrations, festivals and arts events to vital programs focused on health, wellbeing and social inclusion. With limited funding remaining for round two, applicants are encouraged to submit strong, well-developed proposals that clearly demonstrate how their project will benefit the community.

Applications close Wednesday 12 November 2025. Projects must start after 15 January 2026 and be completed by 30 June 2026.

Visit the Grants page to learn more, download guidelines and apply.
