6-Peninsula bus route to detour Aug. 4-8 for Dubuque St. road work
Beginning Monday, Aug. 4, 2025, the outbound 6-Peninsula bus will detour due to the closure of northbound Dubuque Street between Market and Bloomington streets. The closure is necessary for work associated with a recent water main break.
The outbound 6-Peninsula bus will detour using Clinton Street to Church Street to Dubuque Street.
Multiple stops will be closed during this detour:
- Clinton Street at Jefferson Street (Stop 7400)
- Dubuque Street at Market Street (Stop 7091)
- Dubuque Street at Davenport Street (Stop 7069)
- Dubuque Street at Church Street (Stop 7093)
Iowa City Transit will use CAMBUS stops as temporary outbound 6-Peninsula stops at the intersections of Clinton Street at Davenport Street and Church Street at Dubuque Street.
