UL Solutions Certifies Razer Gaming Hardware as the First to Achieve UL 2702 Platinum for Recycled Content

NORTHBROOK, Ill. - April 22, 2026 - UL Solutions (NYSE: ULS), a global leader in applied safety science, has certified Razer's Viper V3 Pro, an esports gaming mouse, as the first gaming hardware product in the world to achieve a UL 2702 Recycled Content Certification platinum rating, confirming that the product meets the highest tier of recycled content requirements established under the UL Standard.

The recycled content certification under UL 2702 independently confirms the recycled content percentage in a finished product. Achieving the platinum level confirms that Razer incorporated at least 25% recycled content.

UL Solutions has also certified Razer's Viper V4 Pro, an esports gaming mouse, and Huntsman V3 Pro Mini, a gaming keyboard, to ECOLOGO UL 2710, a certification framework for the sustainability of electronic and electrical products, which evaluates products against multiple environmental and human health criteria, including materials, manufacturing, energy use and end-of-life considerations.

The UL 2710 certification complements this material-focused assessment by evaluating a product's broader lifecycle impact. As part of this process, certified products undergo testing to assess chemical safety and dermal biocompatibility, helping confirm that the materials used in gaming hardware are suitable for prolonged, high-intensity contact.

By achieving both recycled content and ECOLOGO certifications, Razer becomes the first gaming hardware manufacturer to independently confirm recycled content levels alongside full lifecycle environmental performance across its flagship esports products.
