Julio Roque, private wealth market executive, makes giving back a priority. His dedication to uplifting communities locally and nationally reflects a deep appreciation for his Puerto Rican heritage and the values instilled in him by his family. "Upholding traditions and values from my culture is crucial in my philanthropic work," Roque explains, showing how his background shapes his enthusiasm for community service.
Roque believes the lessons of resilience, mutual aid and respect for elders are important to help a community thrive. This philosophy led to his recognition by the Florida Panthers during the Celebration of Hispanic Excellence ¡Vamos Gatos! Night in March 2025, when he was honored for his positive community impact.
At the heart of Roque's volunteerism is his commitment to financial education through Junior Achievement of South Florida, where he sits on the board of directors. He says he hopes to inspire the next generation of business leaders by focusing on smart money management, leadership skills and entrepreneurship.
"I've been fortunate to volunteer with children through JA to build their confidence in these areas and show them what's possible and how they can be successful," Roque says.
His influence reaches further than JA, as he actively supports the United Way of Broward County and is a Tocqueville Society member. Roque's other passions include the March of Dimes and Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition.
