Robbery – Arrests: C25-87923

On April 25, 2025, at approximately 11:37 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of a robbery in the area of Ellice Avenue and Valour Road.

West District General Patrol officers responded and determined that a 54-year-old male victim had been involved in a verbal altercation with an adult male and an adult female suspect while riding a Winnipeg Transit bus. After all three individuals exited the bus at the above location, the victim was assaulted and had personal property stolen by the suspects. He sustained injuries as a result of the assault but did not seek medical attention.

K9 attended to assist and tracked the suspects to the 1000 block of Spruce Street where they were taken into custody without incident. Property from the victim was recovered during the arrest.

Kenneth Roy LACQUETTE (38) of Winnipeg has been charged with Robbery. He was detained in custody.

A 41-year-old female from Winnipeg is facing charges from Robbery. She was released on an Undertaking as mandated by the Criminal Code.
