Free Compost Drive-Thru Giveaway
Bellflower residents can pick up free compost at the CR&R Compost Drive-Thru Giveaway at the Public Works Yard, located at 9944 Flora Vista St, on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026.
This community event offers residents an opportunity to enrich their gardens with nutrient-rich compost. This giveaway will run while supplies last, and participants must present valid proof of Bellflower residency. The drive-thru format makes it quick and convenient- simply drive up, show your ID and staff will load the compost directly into your vehicle.
Compost is a valuable soil amendment that improves moisture retention, reduces the need for chemical fertilizers and supports healthy plant growth. Events like this highlight Bellflower's ongoing commitment to sustainability and waste reduction.
The compost is provided by CR&R Environmental Services, the City's waste and recycling partner.
