What an incredible World Maths Day 2025!
On March 26th, students from across the globe showed up to compete, calculate and celebrate mathematics under the theme Maths for Everyone.
We're thrilled to announce that this year's event brought together 217,957 students from 81 countries in our 48-hour online competition.
Together, these amazing Mathletes answered an astounding 1,643,811 questions throughout the challenge, proving that mathematics truly is a universal language that connects us all!
What makes World Maths Day so special?
For newcomers, World Maths Day is the ultimate international mathematics event where students aged 5 to 18 test their skills against peers from around the world through Live Mathletics.
The format? High-energy 60-second challenges where quick thinking meets mathematical precision.
Every correct answer earns 1 point toward their World Maths Day score, with students watching their rankings climb in real-time.
The competition brings mathematics to life in an exhilarating experience that makes learning fun and inspires students of all backgrounds and abilities.

On 26 March, students and teachers worldwide showcased their creativity with maths-inspired outfits. Our expert panel judged entries based on creativity, effort and all-round brilliance.
