60-Hour Closure of Southbound SR-160 Auxiliary Lane in Contra Costa County between Wilbur Avenue and East 18th Street/Main Street

Schedule: Friday, October 17, 2025, 5:00 PM through 5:00 AM Monday, October 20, 2025

Contra Costa County - Caltrans has scheduled a 60-hour weekend closure of the southbound SR-160 auxiliary lane between Wilbur Avenue and East 18th Street/Main Street from Friday, October 17, 2025, at 5:00 PM to Monday, October 20, 2025, at 5:00 AM. The Wilbur Avenue On-Ramp to southbound SR-160 and the Main Street Off-Ramp will also be closed throughout the weekend to allow crews to safely complete construction work.

Detour Information

For SB Route 160 to E 18th St. in Antioch/Main St. (Off-Ramp Closed)

  • Exit on Wilbur Avenue Off-Ramp
  • Left turn on Wilbur Avenue
  • Right turn on Bridgehead Rd.
  • Right on Main Street

Detour for Eastbound Wilbur Avenue

  • Continue on Wilbur Avenue
  • Right Turn on Bridgehead Rd.
  • Right on Main Street
  • Left Turn E. 18th St. On-Ramp to SB Route 160

Detour for Westbound Wilbur Avenue

  • Left Turn on Bridgehead Road
  • Right on Main Street
  • Left on 18th Street On-Ramp to SB Route 160

Detour signs will be posted, and Changeable Message Signs (CMS) will alert drivers of the closure. Drivers should expect delays, allow extra travel time, and exercise caution while navigating the detours.
