SWCC Disc Golf Club hosting 11th annual indoor tournament

The Southwestern Community College (SWCC) Disc Golf Club will host its 11th Annual Indoor Disc Golf Tournament on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026, at 6 p.m., at the SWCC Coliseum (the old Walmart building) at 614 New York Ave in Creston, next to the Tractor Supply Co.

Entry to the tournament is FREE and open to the public. Beginners and experienced players are welcome. Players are encouraged to bring their own discs. In addition to a two-round, 9+ hole tournament, there will also be a multi-station putting challenge.

The prizes will include new and used discs from various businesses and community members. The top three spots will receive wooden trophy discs engraved with the tournament logo.

SWCC's disc golf club is open to any SWCC student, faculty, or staff member interested in the game of disc golf, but as mentioned, the tournament is open to everyone. The purpose of the club is to increase awareness of the game, improve playing skills, learn the rules of the game, and among other things, play disc golf.
