Filing Compliance Checklists

The Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking (DISB) monitors financial solvency of insurance companies licensed in the District of Columbia. DISB requires these companies to submit various types of financial statements and other filings every year. Select from the listed below filing compliance checklists for instructions and footnotes to file 2024 and 2025 checklists for each of the four entity-types.

Please note: If your company does not offer medical stop loss coverage, or has not written any stop loss business, there is no need to file a DC Stop Loss Reporting Form. The instructions on this page DO NOT apply to District of Columbia captive insurers. For annual reporting instructions applicable to captive insurers, see the DC Captive Domicile Information page.
