Envision Verona State of Community Report

The City of Verona's Comprehensive Plan update-Envision Verona -has completed Phase 1: Listen & Learn. This phase focused on understanding how the community views Verona today and envisions its future over the next 10 to 30 years.

Thank you, Verona! Your feedback shaped the first phase - and the response was incredible! Through surveys, open houses, interactive maps, and online activities, you shared what matters most for Verona's future. The City gathered input through two public open houses, an online survey, digital post-it notes, and an interactive mapping activity. In total, the process generated:

• 758 completed surveys
• 1,078 post-it note comments
• 589 pins on the online map
• More than 90 attendees at the open houses

In addition to public input, this phase included an analysis of current data on demographics, housing, transportation, and infrastructure. The findings have been summarized in the State of the Community Report, now available on the Envision Verona website. As we move into Phase 2: Reveal & Refine, the City will begin shaping draft recommendations for Verona's future. This phase will focus on topics such as growth, housing, transportation, and the environment. These ideas will be tested and refined through additional public input.
