State Route 24 (SR-24) Caldecott Tunnel Overnight Closure Bores #1,2 and 4 Maintenance Work

Bore 4, Monday November 17th and Bores 1 & 2 on Tuesday November 18th 10:00 PM to 4:30 AM
Alameda and Contra Costa Counties - Caltrans has scheduled overnight closures of Bores 1, 2 and 4 of the Caldecott Tunnel on State Route 24 (SR-24) for maintenance. All work is weather dependent.
Closure Schedule:
Bore #4 Closure
- Monday, November 17, 2025 -closed from 10:00 PM to 4:30 AM
Bore #1 Closure
- Tuesday, November 18, 2025 -closed from 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Bore #2 Closure
- Wednesday, November 19, 2025 -closed from 12:00 AM to 4:30 AM
During the work, all other bores in each direction will remain open.
Traffic Control Measures:
Changeable message signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time. Please drive with caution through the construction zone. Slow for the Cone Zone.
