Mayor Avila’s Town Hall on Diabetes Awareness

Join us for Mayor Avila's Town Hall on Diabetes Awareness on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM at The Center at Deltona, located at 1640 Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. We will be joined by Commissioner Davison Heriot.

This informative event will feature special guest Joyce Parrillo, RN, CDCES, Diabetes Education and Wellness Coordinator for AdventHealth.

AdventHealth will provide valuable insights into Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, focusing on understanding the differences, as well as effective management and treatment options.

Attendees will also enjoy healthy catering provided by Deltona High School's Culinary Program.

This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your knowledge of diabetes and learn practical ways to support wellness. We hope to see you there!
