Temporary Road Closure of Cochran Road beginning Nov. 3 for Bridge & Road Improvements (D2)
Please be advised that Cochran Road will be closed starting on Monday, November 3 as part of Stage 1 of the Bridge Replacement on Cochran Road over Camp Creek being done by the City of South Fulton's Department of Public Works.
Other improvements include two 11-foot travel lanes, new curb and gutter for drainage, and 5-foot-wide sidewalks on both sides for the full length of the project. Cochran Road will be closed from November 3, 2025, and will remain closed until the project is completed, which is anticipated to be August 14, 2026, weather permitting.
Local traffic can still access their homes, but through traffic will be detoured. The community is encouraged to plan ahead and anticipate delays.
