First Day Hike

Welcome 2025 with an Indiana State Park tradition - a First Day Hike on Jan. 1 - a healthy way to start the new year. Visit Summit Lake State Park Office at 9am for some hot coffee and snacks, crafts, and take a hike with park staff at 10am around the prairie behind the park office. Learn about prescribed fire and habitat restoration. Have a great New Year's Day at Indiana State Parks - where memories are made naturally!
