Rejuvenate announces partnership with Animal Health Company

Rejuvenate Bio has announced a partnership with a leading animal health company to develop and commercialize its novel gene therapy for canine osteoarthritis (OA). This collaboration aims to address a significant health issue affecting over 40% of dogs, which can lead to pain, decreased mobility, and reduced quality of life. The partnership follows a previous agreement with Phibro Animal Health and further validates Rejuvenate Bio's gene therapy technology and strategy for both animal and human health applications.

The company's innovative approach offers a one-dose injection targeting the underlying causes of OA, potentially providing long-term relief and disease-modifying action. This partnership not only ensures that the therapy will reach dogs in need but also validates a manufacturing approach suitable for chronic diseases in animal health. Rejuvenate Bio's CEO, Dan Oliver, emphasized the importance of addressing OA, noting it as a leading cause of euthanasia in dogs, and highlighted the potential of their gene therapy to improve joint health and quality of life for both animals and, eventually, humans suffering from osteoarthritis.
