Welcome Our New Communications & Engagement Intern!

We're excited to welcome Jackson Adebiyi, our new Communications & Engagement Intern, to the San Rafael Fire Department!

In this role, Jackson will help share the good work the Fire Department is doing in the community, along with the important notices that keep residents safe. Below is a little bit about him.

Jackson

"My name is Jackson, I am the new Communications & Engagement Intern at the San Rafael Fire Department. I am very excited to be starting in this role where I get to help spread the word of not only the good things the Fire Department is doing but also the important notices that will keep the community safe. I hope to learn and grow not only as a professional but as an individual throughout my time here.

I was born and raised in Oakland California (where I still reside today) and I'm currently completing my Associates Degree at Berkeley City College before transferring in the 2027 fall to complete my Business Marketing Degree. Alongside videography and photography I'd say my favorite hobby is basketball, it's something I like to take part in almost everyday. I hope to get more acclimated with San Rafael and can't wait to spend some of my free time enjoying this beautiful city."

Keep an eye out for him in the community! Over the coming months, you may see Jackson at department events and behind the camera, helping tell the story of the work our firefighters and staff do every day. If you see him, please say hello and make him feel welcome. We're glad to have him on the team.
