The Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) respectfully submits comments regarding the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) consultation with the National Drinking Water Advisory Council (NDWAC) on proposed revisions to the PFAS National Primary Drinking Water Regulation (NPDWR). ACWA supports EPA efforts that mitigate PFAS, but encourages EPA to regulate PFAS in a manner that meets the nation's water quality needs through cost-effective measures, science-based frameworks, and practical timeframes.
