This is your USD News Minute.
Get ready for a weekend full of fun as we celebrate homecoming at USD! Things kick off with the Alumni and Student festival and Big Blue Bash Friday night, along Torero Way. Then Saturday, catch a Q&A with USD alum and NASA astronaut Matthew Dominick before Torero Tailgate and the homecoming football game. Check the link above for all the events going on this weekend.
Congratulations to the 10 newest Laudato Si' Fellows - USD faculty and administrators who were recognized for their work to promote sustainability and who embody the mission to care for our common home.
And, hundreds of students pledged to make an impact in their community on Friday as the newest cohort of College Corps. Members are provided with a $10,000 scholarship in exchange for 450 hours of community service. Great job, Toreros!
