False ticket scam – Warning from the Swiss authorities

The Geneva police force warns the public of the increase in false ticket scams being circulated by SMS.

If you receive such a message, do not click on any links, block the sender, and delete the message immediately.

For any inquiries related to a parking ticket, please consult the official website of the Service des contraventions (https://www.ge.ch/organisation/scem-service-contraventions) or contact the Service directly by email: contraventions@police.ge.ch.

Cyber threat incidents can be reported on the National Center for Cyber Security (NCSC) website: https://www.report.ncsc.admin.ch/en/
