Buena Park Free Fair Housing Fundamentals Workshop

Buena Park, Calif. - The City of Buena Park, in partnership with the Fair Housing Foundation (FHF), will host a free Fair Housing Fundamentals Workshop on July 1, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. via Microsoft Teams. The workshop will provide residents, housing providers, and community stakeholders with an overview of fair housing laws and the rights and responsibilities of both tenants and landlords. Topics will include disability rights, reasonable accommodations and modifications, housing issues affecting seniors and veterans, harassment, retaliation, eviction, and dispute resolution.

The Fair Housing Foundation encourages community organizations, service providers, and local partners to share this opportunity widely so residents can access important housing information and support services. Through Community Development Block Grant funding, FHF provides fair housing education and outreach to Buena Park residents through workshops, trainings, and community events. The organization also offers counseling services, and investigation of housing discrimination complaints through its housing assistance hotline at 1-800-446-FAIR (3247).

Registration is required. For more information, visit www.FHFCA.org. To register for the workshop, RSVP here: https://bit.ly/4txTCk9
