MISSING CHILD ALERT - 6-year old Empress Moore

LAKELAND, FL (January 27, 2025) - The Lakeland Police Department has received a report of a missing child, 6-year-old Empress Moore. Empress initially ran away from her home in the 800 block of North New York Avenue in Lakeland around 8:30 p.m. on January 26, 2025. The Lakeland Police Department was called at that time by her mother and a search was conducted. Patrol officers located her at a friend's residence a short distance away in the 200 block of Pear Street. Empress was returned to her home and at approximately 9:30 p.m. she ran away again.

The Lakeland Police Department was called for the second time by her mother at 10:55 p.m. and another search was initiated. Officers and detectives have been searching throughout the night, door to door in the area. Bloodhound and helicopter assistance was received, two reverse 911 calls were issued, and a social media alert was released.

We are asking for the public's help in finding 6-year-old Empress Moore. She is 4'3" tall, weighs 55 lbs., and has braids in her hair. She was last seen wearing a blue puffy jacket, blue leggings and pink sparkling boots. Empress Moore does not take medication but does have autism diagnosis.
