CONCORD - Kingston resident Kenton Juliano, 45, was indicted by a federal grand jury yesterday for seeking to influence a federal official by threat, U.S. Attorney Erin Creegan announces. He will appear in federal court in Concord on a later date.
According to the charging document, on June 26, 2026, Juliano threatened an employee of the Social Security Administration with the intent to impede, intimidate, or interfere with the employee while engaged in the performance of official duties and with intent to retaliate against such employee on account of the performance of official duties.
The charging statute provides a sentence of up to six years' imprisonment. Sentences are imposed by a federal district court judge based upon the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and statutes which govern the determination of a sentence in a criminal case.
The details contained in the charging document are allegations. The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
The Federal Protective Service led the investigation with valuable assistance provided by the Social Security Administration's Office of Inspector General and Kingston Police Department. This case is being prosecuted by Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Heather Anderson.
