FATF Updates High-Risk and Grey-List Jurisdictions - 28 June 2025

On June 13, 2025, the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) added the British Virgin Islands and Bolivia to its Jurisdictions Under Increased Monitoring list, while removing Croatia, Mali, and Tanzania. The High-Risk Jurisdictions Subject to a Call for Action remain Iran, North Korea (DPRK), and Myanmar-with Iran and DPRK still facing countermeasures and Myanmar subject to enhanced due diligence only.

NFA Member futures commission merchants (FCMs) and introducing brokers (IBs) should review this release to ensure that their AML programs reflect the most current information on FATF-identified jurisdictions with AML/CFT/CPF deficiencies and revise their programs accordingly.
