Medical Imaging Division Announces Rich Fabian as New Board Chair

WASHINGTON, D.C.-AdvaMed, the Medtech Association, today announced that Rich Fabian, president and CEO of FUJIFILM Sonosite, will serve as the chair of the Medical Imagingdivision's board of directors. He will succeed David Pacitti, CEO of Avanos Medical and former president and head of the Americas at Siemens Healthineers, the inaugural division board chair.

"Rich is a highly effective and passionate advocate for medtech, having served as the vice chair of the AdvaMed Medical Imaging board of directors and interim chair since last spring," said Scott Whitaker, AdvaMed president and CEO. "Thank you to Dave Pacitti for his years of service to the Medical Imaging division board. We look forward to continuing to work alongside Rich to ensure that AI and other innovations in medical imaging accelerate our member companies' ability to deliver essential value to patients by improving outcomes and saving money by informing the right course of treatment."
