Marking eighty years since the creation of the United Nations, a special exhibition entitled Shared Lives, Shared Future is available to visitors of the Royal Łazienki Park in Warsaw, where it is displayed on the park's fence. The exhibit is part of an international project, showcasing more than 200 stories from over 180 countries.
The exhibition shows the UN's achievements in key areas in which the international community comes together, such as preserving peace and security, safeguarding human rights, delivering humanitarian aid, fostering sustainable development, health, education, climate protection, and cultural cooperation. The works displayed in Warsaw present 14 selected stories, with a special focus on the ones with references to Poland.
Prepared by the MFA Department of Global Affairs and the UN Information Centre in Warsaw, the exhibition is on display (accessible from Agrykola Street) until 5 November.
