CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Clarksville Parks & Recreation will host its final Dive-In Movie of the summer on Friday, August 8, at New Providence Pool.
This free, family-friendly event is presented by Daniel Ingram of GEICO Local Office, with support from Premier Medical Group and Cass-TN Inc.
The featured film is IF (Rated PG), a heartwarming adventure that invites viewers of all ages to explore the power of imagination.
Guests who preregistered will be admitted beginning at 7:30 p.m. and may enjoy open swim before the movie begins at dusk. A limited number of inner tubes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Due to a high number of no-shows at the previous Dive-In Movie, the department has opened this event to the public to allow more families the chance to attend. Beginning at 7:45 p.m., entry will be allowed for all guests until the pool reaches capacity - no registration required. Once capacity is reached, no additional entries will be permitted.
Pop & Dogs food truck will be on-site with food available for purchase.
"We're excited to close out our Dive-In Movie series with a great film and a relaxing night at the pool," said Kimberly Gilbert, Event Planning Supervisor with Clarksville Parks & Recreation. "We're grateful to our sponsors for helping us make these events accessible and free to the community."
