The City of Sandy Springs invites the community to learn about the proposed Transportation Special Purpose Local Sales Tax (T-SPLOST) projects at a series of public information open houses in April. Public input on future transportation improvements throughout Sandy Springs helps the City prioritize projects for the upcoming 2026 T-SPLOST referendum.
Wednesday, April 8 | 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m. (Note: There are two meetings on April 8).
City Hall, 1 Galambos Way
Tuesday, April 14 | 5:30-7:30 p.m.
High Point Elementary School, 520 Greenland Rd NE
Thursday, April 16 | 5:30-7:30 p.m.
North Fulton Government Service Center, 7741 Roswell Road NE
All cities must present the lists of potential projects for T-SPLOST to Fulton County by June. If authorized, residents will vote whether to approve the referendum on November 3, 2026.
Originally approved by voters in November 2016 and renewed by voters in November 2021, the referendum would not increase the existing sales tax, but it would extend the T-SPLOST 0.75% (3/4 of a cent) sales tax that is used to build bridges, alleviate congestion, fund operations and safety projects, pedestrian and bike improvements, and roadway projects.
