United Tractors Soroako Received Best National Contractor by PT Vale Indonesia

Soroako, September 4, 2026 - Consistent operational quality led to a significant achievement for PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) at its Soroako site. UT Soroako secures the "Best National Contractor" award from PT Vale Indonesia for the July 2025 - June 2026 period. This achievement recognizes the entire UT Soroako team's efforts to uphold safe, competent, and sustainable operational performance while strengthening trust and collaboration between UT and PT Vale Indonesia as strategic partners.

The PT Vale Indonesia "Best Contractor" program is an annual event designed to evaluate and acknowledge the performance of contractor companies supporting PT Vale Indonesia's operations. Assessments are conducted comprehensively, considering various factors such as Contract Diagnostics, the Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS), Critical Risk Management, High-Risk Activity Management, Contractor Technical Competency, Kaizen submissions, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and other compliance aspects.

"UT remains committed to and consistent in executing all operational activities by prioritizing compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies and standards, as well as all regulations applicable at PT Vale Indonesia," states Wisnu Prasetyo, Site Operation Head (SOH) of UT Soroako, during his remarks at the awards ceremony.

In addition to the positive criteria forming the basis of the assessment, the Best Contractor evaluation also considers various compliance and performance metrics, such as contractor violations, underperformance scores (CPR), RKAB submissions, and general compliance. This assessment framework encourages contractors to maintain consistent performance and ensures that every operational aspect aligns with the standards established by PT Vale Indonesia.

PT Vale Indonesia presents the Best National Contractor award during the PT Vale Indonesia Contractor Appreciation Night, held at the PT Vale Indonesia TAB Hall in Soroako on September 4, 2026. During the event, PT Vale Indonesia's Contract Management Department announced the five top-performing contractor companies based on assessment results from July 2025 to June 2026 and presented awards to the recognized Best Contractors, including UT Soroako.

This award will help UT Soroako maintain its established performance standards while driving improvements across various operational areas.
