Coulter Launches Financial Disclosure Page for County Executive and Senior Leadership

  • New webpage makes financial disclosure publicly available for the county executive, deputy county executives and chief financial officer.
  • This fulfills County Executive Dave Coulter's commitment in December to voluntarily expand transparency in county government.

Pontiac, Mich. - Oakland County Executive Dave Coulter launched a new financial disclosure page on the county's website today that will make personal financial disclosure forms publicly available for the county executive, his deputy county executives and chief financial officer.

The disclosures fulfill a commitment Coulter made in December to voluntarily post financial information annually for senior executive staff to strengthen transparency and public trust in county government. To view the financial disclosure forms, go to oakgov.com/government/county-executive/disclosures.

"Transparency is essential to maintain the public's confidence in how their government operates," Coulter said. "While there is not yet state law requiring such financial disclosure for elected officials, I believe we should lead by example. That's why my senior leadership team and I are making these disclosures available to the public."
