2026 Texas Broadcast News Awards Winners and Finalists Announced

The Texas Association of Broadcasters proudly recognizes the winners and finalists of the 2026 Texas Broadcast News Awards.
Now in its fifth year, the Texas Broadcast News Awards continue to honor outstanding broadcast journalism produced by TAB member Radio and TV stations serving local communities across the state.
Entries poured in from stations throughout the state, reflecting the strength and depth of newsrooms, large and small. Judges praised this year's submissions for their exceptional reporting, compelling storytelling, strong production values and meaningful community impact.
In many categories, decisions were extremely close, a testament to the remarkable level of talent and dedication represented across Texas broadcasting.
Whether earning top honors or being named a finalist, each entrant represents the highest standards of professionalism in broadcast journalism. TAB commends your commitment to informing, engaging and serving your audiences every day.
The in-person awards celebration is set for Saturday, April 11, from 6:30-9 PM at the Westin Austin at The Domain.
Tickets are now available for $116 per person.
