Northwest Missouri State University capped its 2025 Homecoming with its awards ceremony on Wednesday to announce winners of competitions throughout the annual celebration.
Northwest hosted its Homecoming week Oct. 19-25 with a theme of "101 years in the books" in honor of 101 years since the University's first Homecoming in 1924. The week included traditions such as the Variety Show, International Flag-Raising Ceremony and the Homecoming parade and football game. The University also welcomed the class of 1975 for its annual 50-year reunion activities.

As a result of Northwest's annual Donation Creation contest, during which students build Homecoming-themed scenes with canned and boxed food items, student organizations donated 974 pounds of food to the Maryville Ministry Center and 615 pounds to the Bearcat Food Pantry.
Additionally, Northwest collected 112 units during a blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross.
Northwest's 2025 Homecoming Executive Board consisted of Sarah Linder, a senior social media management major from Des Moines, Iowa; Nessa Montgomery, a sophomore mass media major from Brookfield, Missouri; Olivia Owen, a junior social media management major from Kansas City, Missouri; and Jilliane Spiegel, a junior elementary and special education major from Kansas City, Missouri.
