Argall Tours Newly Upgraded Municipal Building in Foster Township
FOSTER TOWNSHIP - Sen. Dave Argall (R-29) recently visited Foster Township, Luzerne County to tour ongoing renovations at the township municipal building and discuss plans for a new community center.
"I am pleased to see the progress that has been made in breathing new life into the Foster Township Municipal Building," said Argall.
Argall and Alex Flynn from Rep. Jamie Walsh's (R-117) office met with Brittany Majewski, Foster Township manager, and Wilson Malloy, Foster Township supervisor, to see the upgrades firsthand. Argall helped secure more than $100,000 in state funding to renovate the municipal building.
This funding was awarded through the Statewide Local Share Account program, which distributes gaming revenue to projects that support community and economic development.
During the visit, township officials also shared plans to repurpose the former recycling center into a community center.
