In photos: 2026 UI Health Care Week

University of Iowa Health Care faculty, staff, students, and volunteers celebrated UI Health Care Week on May 11-16, 2026 with a variety of festivities and giveaways. The annual event is held to recognize all the contributions made over the past year.

Denise Jamieson, MD, MPH, UI Vice President for Medical Affairs, the Tyrone D. Artz Dean, Carver College of Medicine, and the head of UI Health Care, shared the following message with the team:

"Thank you for the many ways you help advance our mission of changing medicine and changing lives. The progress we make in patient care, research, and education happens because of your commitment, your expertise, and the passion you bring to your work every day. We are grateful for all you do."
