PUBLIC NOTICE WORKSHOP AND PUBLIC HEARING PROPOSED 2024 TRIENNIAL PROGRESS REPORT

The Placer County Air Pollution Control District has prepared a draft 2024 Triennial Progress Report in order to comply with a requirement of the California Clean Air Act (CCAA) to assess the progress made toward attaining state air quality standards in Placer County. This report describes the historical trends in ambient air quality levels, provides information about the emission inventories in Placer County, summarizes the progress of emissions reductions, and concludes with an overview of air quality planning progress from 2021 to 2023 in Placer County.

On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM, the Placer County Air Pollution Control District will hold a public workshop for the proposed 2024 Triennial Progress Report. The workshop is to be held at the Placer County Air Pollution Control District Office at 110 Maple Street, Auburn, California.

On Thursday, June 12, 2025, at its regular meeting beginning at 2:30 PM, the Placer County Air Pollution Control District Board of Directors will hold a public hearing to receive comments and consider the adoption of the 2024 Triennial Progress Report. The hearing is to be held at the Placer County Board of Supervisors Chambers at 175 Fulweiler Avenue, Auburn, California.

By this notice, all interested parties are advised of the availability of the proposed report and are invited to comment on it. A copy of the proposed 2024 Triennial Progress Report is available for public review on the District's website at www.placerair.org or at the Air Pollution Control District office at 110 Maple Street, Auburn, CA 95603, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. Written comments should be submitted by Wednesday, June 4, 2025, and addressed to Erik C. White, Air Pollution Control Officer, at the District office, located at 110 Maple Street, Auburn, CA 95603.
