TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - Route 9 from Vance Neck Road to Bayview Road Closed Due to High Water on Roadway
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) reports that Route 9 from Vance Neck Road to Bayview Road is closed due to high water on the roadway.
DelDOT will be reopening the Vance Neck Road closure temporarily to allow safe passage through the area.
Motorists should follow the instructions of staff on site and proceed slowly and cautiously through the area to safely reach their destinations.
Motorists should use extreme caution and never attempt to travel through unsafe or flooded areas. Closures and other travel advisories can be accessed 24/7 at deldot.gov.
