Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses recently announced the Iowa program will extend its statewide reach beyond the east and west state borders to include the Illinois section of the Quad Cities region and Omaha, Nebraska, starting with the fall 2026 cohort.
This regional approach reflects the shared economic ecosystems across state lines and ensures that more small business owners can access high-quality business education and growth support.
For more than fifteen years, the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses (10KSB) program has helped entrepreneurs nationwide grow their businesses by offering a free, practical business training program, access to capital, and personalized support services.
In Iowa, DMACC has administered this best-in-class training program to nearly 400 small business owners over the past seven years.
Through this free program, participants gain practical skills in negotiation, marketing, and employee management that can immediately be implemented into their businesses. In addition, participating small business owners receive the tools and professional support necessary to develop a strategic and customized five-year growth plan that can help take their business to the next level.
Across the United States, 10,000 Small Businesses graduates are increasing their revenues and creating new jobs in their communities. The most recent Impact Report from Goldman Sachs notes:
DMACC recently announced the start of its 15th Cohort, which includes 39 small business owners from across the state who will participate in the spring program through May 1.
Selected applicants will gain access to world-class business education and connections to a professional support network at no cost. Small business owners interested in taking their business to the next level can learn more and apply for the free program online at https://www.10ksbapply.com.
Applications are being accepted through June 1st, and the three-month program begins in September. Classes are delivered in person and online, and all costs are fully covered by the Goldman Sachs Foundation.
