China: China Publishes Draft Revised Food Safety Law for Public Comments

On October 10, 2026, China published a draft revision of the Food Safety Law, which is the first major revision of the law since 2015. The draft is open for public comments until November 10, 2026. China has not notified this draft to the World Trade Organization. This report provides an unofficial translation of the revised law and information on how to submit comments.
