Oregon Bankers Association Presents 2024 Presidential Award to Lisa Edmiston

During the Oregon Bankers Association (OBA) Peer Group Summit held last week, OBA announced that Lisa Edmiston, vice president and senior operations administrator at Pioneer Trust Bank, was the recipient of the 2024 OBA Presidential Award for her leadership as chair of OBA's Bank Operations Roundtable.

The OBA Presidential Award is given annually to one of OBA's peer group chairs for their outstanding leadership and commitment. Peer groups are chaired by volunteer bankers who provide leadership, serve as a resource to the OBA and committee members, and are at times called upon to meet with policymakers. OBA's 14 peer groups provide over 400 bankers with a valuable forum for networking, education and roundtable discussion.

Edmiston's unique approach to leading meetings has created an inclusive and supportive environment, where members feel comfortable asking questions and engaging in open discussions. Known for her light-hearted ice breakers, Edmiston helps members forge meaningful connections that extend beyond meetings into ongoing conversations. Her leadership style, grounded in the belief that "we're all in this together," ensures that every member's contributions are valued and no question is ever dismissed.
