Specialty Plate Spotlight: August recap

ADOT has more than 100 specialty license plates featuring a range of worthy causes or charities. To boost awareness, we showcase one specialty license plate each week on social media.

We call this the "Specialty Plate Spotlight" and here are the plates that were featured in August:

  • Fraternal Order of Police: $17 dollars of the initial and annual renewal fee goes to the organization.
  • Arizona Cardinals: $17 goes to Cardinals Charities which supports programs designed to improve the lives of children, women and minorities in Arizona.
  • The Sound of Freedom: $17 of the fee goes to Fighter Country Foundation to support men, women, families and mission of Luke Airforce Base for programs and services geared towards morale and well-being, Culture and tradition and mission sustainability.

Do you own one of these specialty plates? What are your reasons for purchasing the one you have? Join the conversation on social media by letting us know!

All specialty license plates can be viewed and purchased at azmvdnow.gov/plates.
