Winnipeg, MB- The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) responded to two overnight structure fires.
Talbot Avenue fire
At 3:32 a.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, the WFPS responded to reports of a fire in a single-storey commercial building in the 400 block of Talbot Avenue.
When crews arrived at the scene, they found smoke and flames coming from the structure. Firefighters entered and fought the fire from the interior. The fire was declared under control at 4:47 a.m.
All occupants of the building self-evacuated. No injuries were reported.
The fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available.
Hallet Street fire
At 4:13 a.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, WFPS crews responded to reports of a fire in a two-and-a-half storey residence in the 100 block of Hallet Street.
Upon arrival on scene, crews found smoke coming from the structure. Firefighters launched an interior fire attack, declaring the fire under control at 4:38 a.m.
All occupants of the residence self-evacuated prior to the arrival of crews. No injuries were reported.
The fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available.
