Binghamton University honored with eight awards at the 2025 SUNYCUAD Educational Conference

Binghamton University earned top recognition from the State University of New York Council for University Advancement (SUNYCUAD), receiving a total of eight awards, including three "Best of Category" awards and five Judges' Citations, at the SUNYCUAD Educational Conference this year. The annual awards recognize outstanding achievement in communications, marketing, advancement and alumni engagement across the SUNY system.

The University's Division of Communications and Marketing, alongside its Advancement and Research Advancement teams, was recognized across a broad range of categories, including publication design, photography, video storytelling, social media and fundraising campaigns.

Binghamton University was awarded top honors in the following categories:

  • Magazine or Periodical (7+ Staff)

Binghamton University Magazine - Celebrated for design, editorial excellence, and storytelling - Division of Communications and Marketing

  • Single-Page Publication (4-6 Staff)

School of Management Dean's Report 2024 - Recognized for compelling, concise design - Division of Communications and Marketing

  • Multi-Page Publication (4-6 Staff)

Foundation Campaign Impact Report FY2018-24 - Honored for layout, clarity, and narrative strength - Division of Communications and Marketing

In addition to these category wins, the University received Judges' Citations (honorable mentions) in seven categories:

The SUNYCUAD Awards for Excellence are judged by communications and design professionals from outside the SUNY system and are among the most competitive and prestigious recognition opportunities within public higher education in New York.
