Loudoun County Launches Improved Online Tax Payment Portal

Loudoun County Treasurer Henry C. Eickelberg is pleased to announce the launch of a new online payment portal designed to make tax payments easier, more secure and more convenient.

The new payment portal allows uses to:

• Consolidate Multiple Tax Accounts: After creating an account, taxpayers can link multiple tax accounts under one login, manage payment methods and notifications, review payment history and set up a digital wallet.
• Schedule Future Payments: Taxpayers can set up an automatic payment plan that fits their budget. Note: Setting up a plan does not change the original due date. Penalties and interest may still apply if payment is not received in full by the required due date.
• Expand Forms of Payment: In addition to PayPal, e-checks, debit cards and credit cards, taxpayers can now pay with Venmo, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. (Credit and debit card payments are subject to an additional service fee.)
• Establish Tax Payment Reminders: Taxpayers can enable automatic alerts to remind them of upcoming tax due dates.
• Print a Copy of the Bill: Taxpayers can save a digital copy of their bill or print it for their records.
• Pay by Phone: Taxpayers may call 833-894-1011 to pay by phone. The automated system is currently available in English, Spanish and French.

The payment portal can be used to pay business, personal property and real estate taxes.

"This is a significant improvement to a core county function. It gives Loudoun taxpayers more flexibility and convenience while improving the efficiency of our tax-collection process. Soon, most payments to Loudoun County Government will be made through the portal. Our goal is a single, convenient place for residents to manage all Loudoun payments," said Eickelberg.

Taxpayers will still be able to pay by mail, in person at the Treasurer's Offices in Leesburg and Sterling or by calling the Treasurer's office during business hours at 703-777-0280.
