The movie theater on steroids

Apparently, the future of entertainment involves an 87-foot screen and a very good seat. Cosm is betting that audiences who've grown accustomed to watching everything at home might come out for something they can't possibly replicate in their living room.

Founded in 2020, Cosm has locations in Los Angeles, Dallas, Atlanta and Detroit, with each leveraging planetarium software and dome engineering to fill a giant, 12K+ LED screen. Watching an NFL game at the venue, it feels like you're sitting right at the 50-yard line or - when the moment calls for it - behind the end zone. "We give them the best seats in the house," says Jeff Hughes, Cosm's president of sports and entertainment.
