Greenwood Avenue area wide water outage and road closure planned for water valve replacement
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Clarksville Gas & Water has planned water valve replacement work on Thursday, April 24 at 10 p.m. and will turn off water service on the following streets and roads.
- Woodland Street
- Greenwood Avenue
Low water pressure possible for the vicinity during the work.
Woodland Street will be closed and traffic will be detoured to Gracey Avenue and Greenwood Avenue to avoid the work zone. Motorists are asked to slow down and be alert to utility workers and their equipment when traveling through the work zone or to choose an alternate travel route when possible.
The water valve replacement work is anticipated to be finished, water service restored and the road reopened by approximately 5 a.m. on Friday, April 25.
