Governor Polis Appoints Elizabeth A. McClintock to the Teller County Court in the 4th Judicial District

DENVER - Today, Governor Polis appointed Elizabeth A. McClintock to the Teller County Court in the 4th Judicial District. This appointment fills the vacancy created by the retirement of the Honorable Theresa L. Kilgore, and is effective March 1, 2026.


Ms. McClintock is a Presiding Municipal Court Judge in the city of Woodland Park, a position she has held since 2015. Her docket consists of municipal ordinance and traffic violations. Ms. McClintock is also a Managing Attorney at McClintock Law Firm, LLC, a position she has held since 2015. Her practice consists of criminal defense, dependency and neglect and civil appeals. Previously, she was Supervising Attorney at McDivitt Law Firm (2013-2015); Partner at McClintock & McClintock, P.C. (2001-2013); Deputy District Attorney in the 4th Judicial District Attorney's Office (1996-2001); and Associate at Koncilja & Koncilja, P.C. (1995-1996). Ms. McClintock earned her B.S. and her J.D. from the University of Wyoming in 1992 and 1995, respectively.
