TIF Funding Approved for Woodson Elementary Playground Replacement

The Woodson Elementary School playground in Grand Boulevard will be replaced through $900,000 in Tax Increment Financing (TIF) assistance approved by City Council today.

Funding for the project at 4414 S. Evans Ave. will be provided through the 43rd/Cottage Grove TIF District. TIF will cover the entirety of project costs.

The City's TIF program uses new property tax growth within designated districts to support public and private investments within their boundaries.
